Are you ready for some music?
The Concerts on the Common kick off Wednesday night — yep, that’s tomorrow — at 7 p.m. First up are the Infractions, which will play tunes from the ’60s and ’70s.
Here’s the lineup for the rest of the summer:
July 16, 2008 Clafin Hill Summer Wind Ensemble
(Apple Tree Arts will present this concert)
July 23, 2008 Snakebite (Country/Western)
July 30, 2008 Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band
August 6, 2008 Tailspin (60’s, 70’s)
August 13, 2008 Glass Onion and The Court House Horns (Beatles)
August 20, 2008 Carlos Davis Group (Rhythm and Blues)
August 27, 2008 Heritage String Band (19th Century Americana Music)
There will also be two children’s concerts, both scheduled for Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
July 24, 2008 Mr. Kim
August 14, 2008 Crystal Entertainment’s Have A Ball Game Show
All concerts are free to the public. Bring your chairs, blanket, and a picnic supper.
Concerts are sponsored in part by the Grafton Recreation Commission,
Grafton Local Cultural Council, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Should it rain, head for the Grafton Municipal Center Gym, where you can listen to music and be dry at the same time.
