Reminder: If you want to tour the New England Regional Biosafety Laboratory tomorrow at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine (aka Tufts), call Nancy Meyer, 508-887-4700 to sign up and be prepared to show photo ID. The tour starts at noon and will be led by Dean Deborah Kochevar. I’ll be taking my notebook along, but they weren’t sure if my camera will be welcome. They will be having tours once a month until the facility is complete.
Tonight: School Committee, 7 p.m. I’d love to tell you what’s on the agenda, but the revamping of the school department’s Web site has made that section go all Zapf dingbat.
Tomorrow: Board of Health, 6:30 p.m., will be talking about the BioTech bylaw (kind of timely given the Tufts tour) and the Selectmen meet at 7 p.m. They’ll be talking about renewing Natalie Lashmit’s contract as town administrator and opening up the warrant for the October 20 Town Meeting (anyone know if Grafton High has WiFi? Liveblogging Town Meeting might be fun if I could convince my husband I’m not going to destroy the laptop). Also at 7 p.m. is Conservation Commission and the Cable Advisory Committee, which has the application from Verizon (FiOS!) on the agenda.
