You know, I just don’t use the “going green” category enough so, on top of yesterday’s discussion about recycling, here’s something that might also save you money and, in the long run, help the environment.
The Grafton Education Association is hosting a home energy savings workshop next Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the Finance Committee Room at the Municipal Center. There will be two hour-long sessions — the first at 2 p.m., the second at 7 p.m.
The sessions will include advice on home energy audits, home heating, insulation and air flow and electricity conservation and tips. They will concentrate on simple, inexpensive and easy-to-do methods to save energy… and money.
Space is at a premium — only 40 seats — so you need to RSVP by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 508-887-5016. Note which session you will be attending and how many people will attend.
