Music teacher grew up in Grafton

My friend Susan over at MySouthborough dropped me a line to note that Dennis Wrenn, a longtime music teacher at Algonquin Regional High School who died during a student trip to Greece, grew up in Grafton.

Susan’s coverage, with links to media reports, can be found here.

  1. God, this is so, so very sad… and I heard on the TV news that he died of a massive heart attack… which just saddens me even more, because his death was very likely preventable… as I’ve learned from my own (reluctant) crash course in cardiology. 😦

  2. It is a sign of just how well-known and popular Dennis was, that my post was besieged with hits yesterday. This was actually quite a large spike of traffic, especially for a Sunday. The traffic came mostly from a link on the Facebook site, but there was also quite of bit of traffic coming from Yahoo and Google searches for “Dennis Wrenn”.

Life is hardly long enough for any of us, but Dennis lived his life well, making friends and adding something to all our lives.

He will be missed by a great number of people.
