The heck with Kennedy’s seat, where does Peterson stand on Fluff?

fluff1I know, I know, the biggest news story out of the State House this week has been the battle over whether or not the governor should be allowed to appoint an interim senator to replace the late Edward Kennedy (and he did today: longtime Kennedy associate Paul Kirk), and our state rep, George Peterson, has been among the Republicans leading the charge against.

But I bet you’re wondering: Just what is Peterson’s position on Fluff?

Does he enjoy the occasional Fluffernutter? Does he support naming the Fluffernutter the official state sandwich of Massachusetts? Is he secretly gorging on the gooey marshmallow creme as he campaigns for firearms rights?

I haven’t done the investigation myself, and won’t take credit for it. You’re going to have to go here to find out (Peterson’s the fifth rep down in the entry).

Does this make you hungry? The annual “What the Fluff” festival is this weekend in Somerville’s Union Square.

  1. It comes to no surprise that our legislators are talking about Fluff. I completely understand their desire to address this instead of unemployment, taxes & the elderly drivers!

    UGH….
