How NOT to close a news site

Grafton readers are awesome readers. I have said this for the past five years, starting with this blog and moving on to the various incarnations of Grafton sites — GraftonTimes.com, The Daily Grafton, Grafton Daily Voice. They stuck with us through the multiple name changes, commented up a storm on stories in a relatively civilized manner and basically, they really make covering Grafton a wonderful thing.

This is how my former employers thanked them today.

  1. AladdinsLamp, All these names and history, have built a great base for this/your new effort! I’m all in!

  2. I miss The Daily Grafton! Jennifer and her cohorts did a great job of delivering info about Grafton. The sote was easy to read, easy to find info…. What a shame. Those “owners” did us and themselves no favor.
Great job Daily Voice – you are missed!
