Republican U.S. Senate candidates plan Whitinsville reception

Local Republican officials will be part of a meet and greet reception in Whitinsville on April 11 that will introduce the three Republican candidates running for U.S. Senate.

Dan Winslow, Gabriel Gomez, and Mike Sullivan will meet locals 7-9 p.m. at the LaSalle Mansion in Whitinsville. The three men are vying for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat recently vacated by Secretary of State John Kerry.

Elected officials joining the Senate hopefuls at the event include Worcester County Sherriff Lew Evangelidis; Governor’s Council Member Jen Caissie; State Rep. George Peterson (R-Grafton); State Rep. Matthew Beaton (R-Shrewsbury); State Rep. Peter Durant (R-Spencer); State Rep. Ryan Fattman (R-Sutton); State Rep. Kimberly Ferguson (R-Holden); State Representative Paul Frost (R-Auburn); State Representative Kevin Kuros (R-Uxbridge); and State Rep. Todd Smola (R-Palmer).
