If you go to the Municipal Center these days, you’re going to be greeted with a reminder at the door: if you have any intention, any at all, of purchasing a sticker for Silver Lake Beach, you need to bring in your car registration.
People will still manage to make their way up to Betty Wright’s second floor office, registration-free. It happens. It’s an easy thing to forget. For crying out loud though, don’t take it out on Betty! Beach stickers for residents this year are $50 per car, $10 for seniors (only one per address); daily passes are $5. Opening day for Silver Lake is June 23.
In any case, the Grafton Recreation Department’s Spring/Summer Brochure is now out (I’ve attached it to this post), which means it’s time to think about swimming lessons and summer camps. Are you ready for that?
