Grafton Gazebo Road Race is Saturday

RoadRaceStartAre you ready to run the streets of Grafton — or would you prefer to stay away from the pack of runners? The 24th Annual Grafton Gazebo Road Race and Walk is Saturday.

The 5-mile run this year is co-sponsored by a new local non-profit, Kai’s Village and will also feature a 1.5 mile family walk, along with music, refreshments, games and other activities at the Municipal Center before, during and after the race. The race starts at 10 a.m. at the Grafton Police Station. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. or may be done online.

The following streets should be avoided from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 4.  Drivers please use caution for the runners and the volunteers directing traffic at this time.  The following roads are:

Providence Road

Carroll Road

North Street

Grafton Common

South Street

Oak Street

Bruce Street

Pullard Road

Pleasant Street

Hudson Avenue

Millbury Street

Brigham Hill Road (lower end near Providence Road)

Municipal Center (entrances and exits will be blocked off during the race)
