GCTV presents ‘Grafton Minute By Minute’

Bob_DeTomaThere’s a lot that happens in Grafton every day that you’re probably missing. Maybe, for example, you recently started a new job that requires you to commute to Lowell every day. If only, you say, someone was there with a camera, videoing the event AND breaking it down into easily digestible pieces. Also, could it feature a charming Bob DeToma?

Nah. That would never happen.

Drumroll, please: introducing “Grafton Minute By Minute,” a monthly half hour program hosted by DeToma showcasing video of events held throughout the community. The show is hosted by GCTV and features video footage by Access Assistants Rick Schultze and Bill Robidoux (who I will always and forever think of as “Two Guys Who Like To Talk”).

The premiere episode debuts Monday, Aug. 5 on GCTV (Charter Channel 11, Verizon Channel 34) and will feature highlights from the Mill Villages Park dedication ceremony, the mosquito lecture at Tufts, the recycle materials regatta at Silver Lake, and three recent concerts held in Grafton.

“Grafton Minute By Minute” will air on GCTV on the following days and times:

  • Monday, Aug. 5 at both 1:30 pm, and 8:30 pm
  • Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 8 pm
  • Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 1 pm
  • Thursday, Aug. 8 at 1 pm
  • Friday, Aug. 9 at 1 pm
  • Sunday, Aug. 11 at both 1:30pm, and 5:30pm

“All of us at GCTV are very excited about our new program,” DeToma said. “We’re very aware of the number of different events that happen each week in our community, and we’re sending out our GCTV cameras to capture as many of these events as possible. Our debut program highlights six of these events, and we look forward to capturing future events on tape for upcoming episodes.”
